
Four Canadians recorded week 12 touchdowns on winning teams in the Canadian Football League. They were Winnipeg Blue Bombers wide receiver Nic Demski of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Blue Bombers running back Brady Oliveira of Winnipeg, Toronto Argonauts wide receiver Kevin Mital of Longueuil, Quebec, and Calgary Stampeders wide receiver Jalen Philpot of Delta, British Columbia. Demski and Oliveira contributed to a 26-13 Blue Bombers win over the Montreal Alouettes on Thursday. Mital contributed to a 52-34 Argonauts win over the British Columbia Lions on Saturday. Philpot contributed to a 32-15 Stampeders win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday.
Demski had a two-yard touchdown pass from Zach Collaros with six seconds left in the first quarter to put the Blue Bombers up 10-3. Oliveira had a three-yard touchdown run at 6:11 of the fourth quarter to put the Blue Bombers up 23-13. In the game, Oliveira had 16 rushes for 137 rushing yards, and nine catches for 73 yards. Demski had four catches for 25 yards. On the season, Oliveira has 98 rushes for 550 rushing yards and two touchdowns, and 36 catches for 350 receiving yards. Demski has 45 catches for 665 receiving yards and six touchdown catches in 2025.
Mital had a 15-yard touchdown catch from Nick Arbuckle with 33 seconds left in the first half to put Toronto up 28-21. On the season, Mital has 56 catches for 535 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Philpot had an eight yard touchdown run from Vernon Adams at 3:23 of the second quarter. At the time, the Stampeders went up 14-2. Philpot had three catches for 51 receiving yards. On the season, Philpot had 32 catches for 500 receiving yards. The Stampeders are second in the West at seven wins and three losses and the Blue Bombers are third in the West at six wins and four losses.
