Four Canadians contribute to touchdowns on winning teams in Week 11 of 2025 CFL season

Four Canadians contributed to touchdowns for winning teams in Week 11 of the 2025 Canadian Football League regular season. They were Winnipeg Blue Bombers running back Brady Oliveira of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Saskatchewan Roughriders wide receiver Tommy Nield of Guelph, Ontario, British Columbia Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke of Victoria, British Columbia, and Lions wide receiver Justin McInnis of Montreal, Quebec.

Oliveira had a four yard touchdown run with 21 seconds into the fourth quarter in a 30-27 Blue Bombers win over the Ottawa Redblacks on Thursday. At the time, the Blue Bombers took a 27-10 lead. Oliveira finished the game with 10 rushes for 35 rushing yards and four catches for 29 yards for 64 total yards. With the win, the Blue Bombers improved to a record of five wins and four losses and are in third place in the West Division.

Nield had a 26-yard touchdown catch from Trevor Harris with one minute and five seconds left in the first half in a 29-6 Roughriders win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday. Nield finished the game with four catches for 39 receiving yards. With the win, the Roughriders improved to a record of eight wins and one loss and lead the West Division.

Rourke completed 26 of 34 passes for 382 passing yards, with four touchdown passes and one interception in a 36-18 Lions win over the Montreal Alouettes on Saturday. Rourke completed touchdown passes of five yards to McInnis (to put the Lions up 16-6 with two minutes and 45 seconds left in the first half), eight yards to Keon Hatcher (to put the Lions up 23-9 with two minutes and 24 seconds left in the third quarter), 18 yards to Hatcher (to put the Lions up 30-12 at 2:55 of the fourth quarter), and 29 yards to Stanley Berryhill (to put the Lions up 36-12 with 5:56 left in the game). Rourke also had two rushes for 31 rushing yards. McInnis had five catches for 66 receiving yards. With the win, the Lions improve to five wins and five losses.
