
Week four of the 2025 Canadian Football League regular season completed on Sunday with five Canadians recording touchdowns on winning teams. They were Winnipeg Blue Bombers wide receiver Nic Demski of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Hamilton Tiger-Cats linebacker Devin Veresuk of Windsor, Ontario, Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive back Tevaughn Campbell of Toronto, Ontario, Roughriders wide receiver Dhel Duncan-Busby of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Toronto Argonauts offensive lineman Ryan Hunter of North Bay, Ontario.
On Thursday, the Blue Bombers beat the Edmonton Elks 36-23. Demski had two touchdown catches. He had an eight yard touchdown catch from quarterback Zach Collaros with two minutes and 53 seconds left in the first quarter to pull the Blue Bombers within one point (7-6 Edmonton), and then put the Blue Bombers up 20-10 with five minutes and 38 seconds into the second quarter to put Winnipeg up 20-10. Demski had five catches for 97 receiving yards in the game. For the season, he has 10 catches for 151 receiving yards and four touchdowns. With the win, Winnipeg is at three wins and zero losses.
On Friday, the Tiger-Cats upset the Montreal Alouettes 35-17 for their first win of the season. Veresuk had a 36 yard interception return for a touchdown with one minute and 49 seconds left in the third quarter to put the Tiger-Cats up 18-7. In the game, Veresuk also led the Tiger-Cats with eight solo tackles and nine total tackles.
On Saturday, the Roughriders defeated the British Columbia Lions 37-18. Campbell had an 89 yard interception return for a touchdown at the end of the first half to put the Roughriders up 16-7. Duncan-Busby had a 42-yard touchdown catch from Jake Maier with three minutes and 16 seconds left in the game to put the Roughriders up 34-10. Campbell had three solo tackles in the game. For the season, he has two interceptions for 89 yards and 12 solo tackles. Duncan-Busby had two catches for 40 receiving yards. For the season, he has eight catches for 107 receiving yards. With the win, the Roughriders are at four wins and zero losses, and lead the West Division.
On Sunday, the Argonauts defeated the Ottawa Redblacks 29-16. Hunter had a one-yard touchdown catch from Nick Arbuckle at 7:52 of the second quarter to put the Argonauts up 18-0. This was the Argonauts’s first win of the season.
