Elic Ayomanor leads Titans to win over the Browns

It has been a very disappointing season for the Tennessee Titans. Anyway you look at it, the Titans are in the early stages of a rebuilding process that will take some time. However on Sunday, we saw some progression in the Titans overall play. As a result, Tennessee defeated Cleveland 31-29 for their second win of the 2025 National Football League regular season. Tennessee’s only other win came on October 5 in a shocking 22-21 Titans win over the Arizona Cardinals, in a game filled with Arizona mistakes.

One of the Titans offensive players who is starting to emerge and develop offensively is wide receiver Elic Ayomanor of Medicine Hat, Alberta. Ayomanor had his third career NFL touchdown on Sunday, and first touchdown in a Titans win. He opened the scoring with a 14 yard touchdown catch from Titans quarterback Cam Ward (not the former Carolina Hurricanes goaltender from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan). Ironically, Cam Ward the football player was also a Hurricane as he played for the University of Miami in college.

As I digress, Ayomanor’s touchdown catch came five minutes and eight seconds into the game. This was Ayomanor’s only catch in the game. During his rookie season, Ayomanor, a Stanford product, has 30 catches for 353 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
