Eleven Canadians named starters on 2025 NFL rosters

The 2025 National Football League season is set to start on Thursday. There are 11 Canadians named NFL starters. Let’s take a look who they are.

Isaiah Adams 

The native of Ajax, Ontario is set to be the starting right guard for the Arizona Cardinals. He started five games last season in his rookie year in Arizona.

Eric Ayomanor

The native of Medicine Hat, Alberta is a starting wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans. He had a great collegiate career at Stanford and was the Titans’s fourth round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Matthew Bergeron

The native of Victoriaville, Quebec is a starting left guard for the Atlanta Falcons. He has started all 34 games for the Falcons the last two seasons and had a fumble recovery last season in a 26-24 Falcons win over the New Orleans Saints on September 29.

Chase Brown

The native of London, Ontario is a starting running back for the Cincinnati Bengals. Last season he had 229 rushes for 990 rushing yards, and seven rushing touchdowns, and 54 catches for 360 receiving yards and four touchdown catches.

Sydney Brown 

The native of London, is a starting safety for the Philadelphia Eagles. Last season he had seven combined tackles (six solo tackles and one assisted tackle), one interception for 21 yards, two pass deflections and one forced fumble. The first pass deflection came in a 28-3 Eagles win over the New York Giants on October 10. The forced fumble came in a 28-23 Eagles win  over the Jacksonville Jaguars on November 3, and the assisted tackle, second pass deflection, and interception came in a 20-13 Eagles win over the New York Giants on January 5.

Jevon Holland 

The native of Coquitlam, British Columbia is the starting safety for the New York Giants after four seasons with the Dolphins. Last season with the Miami Dolphins, Holland had 62 combined tackles (42 solo tackles and 20 assisted tackles), two quarterback hits, two tackles for a loss, four pass deflections, one forced fumble and one sack. The forced fumble came in a 20-17 Dolphins win over the Jaguars on September 8. The first quarterback hit, first tackle for a loss, and sack came in a 23-15 Dolphins win over the Los Angeles Rams on November 11. The second tackle for a loss came in a 34-15 Dolphins win over the New England Patriots on November 24. The second quarterback hit came in a 20-3 Dolphins win over the Cleveland Browns on December 29.

Chuba Hubbard 

The native of Edmonton, Alberta is the starting running back with the Carolina Panthers. Last season he had 250 rushes for 1195 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdown to go along with 43 catches for 171 receiving yards and one touchdown catch. The touchdown catch was for six yards and came in a 36-22 Panthers win over the Las Vegas Raiders on September 22.

Alaric Jackson 

The native of Windsor, Ontario is the starting left tackle for the Los Angeles Rams. He won a Super Bowl with the Rams in 2022.

Theo Johnson 

The native of Winnipeg, Manitoba is the starting tight end for the Giants. Last season, he had 29 catches for 331 receiving yards and one touchdown for the G-Men.

David Onyemata

The raised Calgarian is the starting defensive tackle for the Falcons. Last season, he had 45 combined tackles (23 solo tackles and 22 assisted tackles), eight tackles for a loss, five quarterback hits, three sacks and one pass deflection. The pass deflection came in a 31-26 Falcons win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 27.

Josh Palmer 

The native of Toronto, Ontario is the starting wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills after four seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers. Last season, Palmer had 39 catches for 584 receiving yards and one touchdown. The major score of 28 yards came in a 27-10 Chargers win over the Cleveland Browns on November 3.
