Dylan Holloway records second career NHL hat trick

St. Louis Blues centre Dylan Holloway of Calgary, Alberta recorded his second career National Hockey League hat trick on Thursday. He accomplished the feat in a 5-1 Blues win over the Seattle Kraken on Thursday.

Holloway opened the scoring from Jonatan Berggren and Pius Suter at 7:58 of the first period. He then put the Blues up 3-1 from Berggren and Suter again at 1:35 of the second period. Then, with three minutes and one second left in the third period, Holloway closed the scoring into an empty net. Defenseman Justin Faulk and Jack Finley had the assists.

Holloway’s first NHL hat trick was also with the Blues. It came in a 4-0 Blues win over the Detroit Red Wings on December 23, 2024.

This season, Holloway has 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points in 36 games. He is a -9 with 11 penalty minutes, three power-play points, one game-winning goal, 89 shots on goal, 12 faceoff wins, 27 blocked shots, 92 hits, four takeaways, and 22 giveaways.

Holloway’s game-winning goal this season came on November 29, in a 1-0 Blues win over the Utah Mammoth. Holloway scored the only goal of the hockey game. It came with one minute and 50 seconds left in the second period. Defenseman Philip Broberg and centre Robert Thomas of Aurora, Ontario had the assists.
