Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps win pairs silver at 2025 Grand Prix de France

Maxime Deschamps of Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec and Deanna Stellato-Dudek won the silver medal in the pairs competition at the 2025 Grand Prix de France Figure Skating competition in Angers, France on Saturday. At age 42, Stellato-Dudek is the oldest International Skating Union Figure Skating Grand Prix medalist in figure skating all-time.

In the pairs event in Angers, Deschamps and Stellato-Dudek posted a score of 197.66 points. Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara of Japan won the gold medal with a score of 219.15 points. Maria Pavlova and Alexei Sviatchenko of Hungary won the bronze medal with a score of 192.76 points. Deschamps and Stellato-Dudek reached the podium by 19.58 points over Katie McBeath and Daniil Parkman of the United States, who finished in fourth place with 178.08 points.

This is the seventh ISU Grand Prix medal for Deschamps and Stellato-Dudek. They have five gold medals and two silver medals. They previously won gold at the 2022 Grand Prix de France, gold at the 2023 Skate Canada in Vancouver, British Columbia, gold at the 2023 Cup of China, gold at the 2024 Skate Canada in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and gold at the 2024 Grand Prix of Finland. The other silver medal for Deschamps and Stellato-Dudek came at Skate America in 2022. The silver medal in France will give Deschamps and Stellato-Dudek confidence as they prepare for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo.
