Canada’s quest to break South Korea’s record for the most Olympic medals at a single Olympic Winter Games in short track speed skating begins on Tuesday. The event where medals is up for grabs is the mixed 2000 metre relay. Canada won the bronze medal in the event at the 2025 World Short Track Speed Skating Championships in Beijing, and finished third on the World Cup circuit in the fall of 2025. Women’s Hockey
Canada will face their archival United States in women’s hockey on Tuesday. The start time will be at 12pm MT. Canada may not have three-time Olympic gold medalist Marie-Philip Poulin of Beauceville, Quebec after she injured her knee against the Czech Republic.
