Chase Brown has two touchdowns in Bengals win over Cardinals

For the second straight week, Chase Brown of London, Ontario had a multiple touchdown game in a Cincinnati Bengals victory. One week after having three touchdowns (two touchdown catches and one touchdown run) in a 45-21 Bengals win over the Miami Dolphins, Brown had two touchdown runs in a 37-14 Bengals win over the Arizona Cardinals. In a remarkable statistic, all five touchdowns over the last two weeks have come in the third quarter.

Brown’s first touchdown run was for six yards and put the Bengals up 30-7 with seven minutes and 33 seconds left in the third quarter. Brown’s second touchdown run was for one yard and put the Bengals up 37-7 with one minute and 41 seconds left in the third quarter.

Brown finished the game with 151 total yards. He had 101 yards rushing on 22 carries, and three catches for 40 receiving yards.

On the season, Brown now has 219 rushes for 947 receiving yards and six touchdown runs. He also has a career-high in receptions (65), career-high in receiving yards (419), and four touchdown runs.

Brown is now 53 yards rushing away from reaching 1000 yards rushing for the first time in his National Football League career. Brown had 990 yards rushing last year. Cincinnati closes out their season on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
