Brad Jacobs’s curling team continues to sizzle at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo. On Friday, the Team Canada men’s curling rink beat Danny Casper of the United States 6-3 and Sweden’s Niklas Edin by score of 8-6. As a result, Canada has an undefeated record of three wins and zero losses.

In Canada’s win over the United States, the key shot came in the fourth end. Team Jacobs went through a tight port, and clipped an American stone for two points. He also silenced the American cheering section, who appeared stunned that Jacobs even made the shot at all.

In Canada’s win over Sweden, things got a little testy. Sweden third Oskar Eriksson complained to a judge that Canadian third Marc Kennedy that he was double touching his stone. Kennedy was furious that Eriksson had made the accusation, and argued he was not cheating. Then, Canadian lead Ben Hebert complained to a judge that Eriksson was double touching his stone too according to reddit.

Canada is in a first place tie with Switzerland at three wins and zero losses. The Swiss team skipped by Yannick Schwaller, has beaten the United States, China and the Czech Republic to date. On Saturday, Canada’s lone game will be against the undefeated foursome from Switzerland.
