Adin Hill records 12th career NHL shutout

Adin Hill of the Vegas Golden Knights recorded his 12th career National Hockey League shutout on Saturday. He accomplished the feat in a 4-0 Golden Knights win over the Chicago Blackhawks at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hill made six saves in the first period, six saves in the second period, and nine saves in the third period. Left winger Todd Bertuzzi of Sudbury, Ontario, Andrew Mangiapane of Toronto. Ontario and Ilya Mikheyev led the Blackhawks with three shots on goal.

Offensively, two Golden Knights had a multi-point game game. Mitch Marner of Markham, Ontario and Mark Stone of Winnipeg Manitoba had two assists each. Meanwhile, right winger Keegan Kolesar of Brandon, Manitoba was one of the four Golden Knights who scored.

Of Hill’s 12 NHL shutouts, seven shutouts have come with the Vegas Golden Knights, three shutouts have come with the Arizona Coyotes and two shutouts have come with the San Jose Sharks. This season, Hill has a record of eight wins, six regulation losses and three losses in extra time. He has one shutout, a goals against average of 3.05 and a save percentage of .870.

With the win, the Golden Knights move into first place in the Pacific Division. They have a record of 31 wins, 22 regulation losses and 14 losses in extra time for 76 points. They have one more point than the Anaheim Ducks.
